Judith Rocker Obituary
Judith L. Rocker (nee Sailer), 80, of Shaker Heights, OH passed away peacefully September 1, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 26, 1940 in Westmoreland County, PA and had been a Pennsylvania resident before moving to Cleveland to attend Western Reserve University. She was employed for many years by the Shaker Heights Board of Education from where she retired. Judy enjoyed playing mahjongg and bridge with her friends, researching her genealogy, and her membership in the Daughters of American Revolution. As a lifelong visitor of Chautauqua Institution, she loved taking her family there. She was also interested in the arts, especially musical theatre and was a volunteer Red Coat at Playhouse Square. Judy is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Michael) Rocker Brosky of Lorain, OH; son, Henry “Hank” (Kelly) Rocker of Coral Springs, FL; and grandchildren Hannah, Heather and Halle Brosky, Paige Collins, and Jack, Max and Madison Rocker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul G. and Dorothy (nee Anderson) Sailer. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 6111 Oak Tree Blvd., Suite 130, Independence, OH 44131.
