Judith Ann Adams (nee Smith), 74, formerly of Elyria, died October 19, 2019 at her home in Indio, CA where she has resided for the past year. Judy was born February 1, 1945 in Elyria and was a 1963 graduate of Elyria High School. She had at one time been employed as a pre-school teacher and office manager. Her hobbies included reading and traveling. Judy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alan L. Adams; son, Ryan David Adams; and granddaughter, Addison Adams both of Santa Monica, CA; sisters, Gail (Ben) Rader and Lynne (John) McKenna both of Elyria; and a brother, Edmund (Julie) Smith, Jr. of Thonotosassa, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Eileen Smith. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria with Reverend Kathryn Ketchum officiating.
