JuliannNicole Pietch, 28, of Norwalk and formerly of Elyria died July 14, 2013. She was born December 26, 1984 in Elyria and attended Elyria High School and Avon Lake High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University in 2012 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. Julie was a spiritual and compassionate individual who always cared for others. She was an avid reader with an artistic flair and enjoyed music and her pets.Juliann is survived by her parents, Larry R. and Judy K. (nee: Van Hook) Pietch; brother, Michael L. (Amanda) Pietch all of Norwalk; grandparents, Girstene and Henry Bateman of Sidney, Ohio; uncles, Richard S. Pietch and John F. (Carol) Pietch and aunts, Patricia A. (Charles) Johnson and Carol J. (James) Kennedy.She was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Maxine Pietch and Arley Van Hook.Friends will be received Friday July 19, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A service will be Saturday July 20 at 11:00 in the funeral home with Reverend Bret S. Myers, pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, 44035 or a charity of choice.
