June D. Miller (nee: Price), 88, of Elyria, died October 13, 2014 at the home of her daughter. She was born May 23, 1926 in Shamokin, PA where she was a 1944 graduate of Coal Township High School. June was a charter member of Community United Methodist Church in Elyria and enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. June is survived by a daughter, Susan F. (Hershel) Short of Elyria; son, Paul T. (Lisa) Miller of Wellington; grandchildren; Michael Perkins and Paul and Bethany Miller and great grandsons; Trevor and Logan Perkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Miller in 1998; daughter, Jane A. Miller in 2013; sisters, LaVera Miller, Martha Griffith and Evelyn Miller and parents, George and Sarah Price. A memorial service will be Saturday October 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Community United Methodist Church, 680 North Abbe Road, Elyria with Reverend Donald Lare officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
