June Palm Obituary
June I. Palm (nee Haydn), 74, of LaGrange, died August 27, 2022. She was born February 24, 1948 in Elyria and was a 1966 graduate of Keystone High School, LaGrange. She received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Music from Malone College in Canton and taught elementary music in Zanesville, South Amherst and Keystone schools retiring in 2009. June was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, Elyria where she was organist for forty years, sang in the choir, participated in women’s church groups and vacation bible school. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandsons. June is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Noah) Carr; grandsons, Caleb and Joshua Fuleki; sisters, Doris J. Beckwith and Nancy A. (Ted) Smith; cousin, Russ (Amanda) Smith and grand niece, Emma Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Palm in 2006; daughter, Amanda Cervantes in 2016 and parents, William and Irene Haydn. Friends will be received Sunday September 4, 2022 from 2:00 until the time of a 3:00 PM memorial service at Calvary Baptist Church, 114 Hope Court, Elyria. Reverend Arthur Myers will officiate.
