June Majesky Obituary
June W. Majesky nee: Parkinson, 88, of Elyria died December 29, 2011 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange. She was born April 15, 1923 in Uniontown Pennsylvania and was a longtime Elyria resident. She was formerly employed as a manager at several Lawson stores in Lorain County and then worked for 20 years in the china and crystal department at May Company. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Elyria. She was also a member of the Vagabonds and enjoyed traveling especially trips to Windsor, Ontario to play the slot machines. June is survived by sons; Stephen L. (Carol) Majesky of Wellington, Craig W. Majesky of Elyria; daughter, Deanna L. (Craig) Reed of Grafton; grandchildren, Amy, Jenny, Brett, Ryan, Ashley, Kyle and Raven; great grandchildren, Mason, Rowen, Brayden, Logan and Kaelyn; brother, Paul Parkinson of Dayton and a sister, Barbara Bittner of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen C. in 1979; brothers, George and Ted Parkinson and parents, William and Elsie Parkinson. Friends will be received Monday from 5:00-7:00 PM January 2, 2012 at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Tuesday 10:00 AM January 3, 2012 in the funeral home with Deacon John K. Slatcoff officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
