Jutta Jarvis Obituary
Jutta R. Jarvis (nee: Hanewald), 82, of Elyria died October 31, 2015 at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain. She was born January 24, 1933 in Berlin, Germany and came to the United States in 1953 with her husband whom she married while he was serving in the United States Armed Forces in Germany. For twenty years she was employed at Lorain County Savings & Trust Company, retiring in 1978. Jutta was a proud American who taught herself English and was a sports enthusiast and a bingo connoisseur.Jutta is survived by her husband of sixty three years, Glen H.; children, Michael, Dirk and Robin Jarvis and Michelle (Lawrence) Trupo and a sister, Helga Wall. Her greatest joys in life were her eleven grandchildren and her beautiful great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Martha Hanewald.Friends will be received Wednesday November 4, 2015 from 4:00 PM until the time of a 6:00 PM memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Brian K. Wilbert, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Oberlin will officiate. Burial will be private.
