Karen Segedi Obituary
Karen M. Segedi, 78, of North Ridgeville, died August 11, 2020. She was born December 23, 1941 in Cleveland and had been a life long Cleveland area resident. Karen turned her passion for art into a graphic design career in product development for Parts Association Inc. from where she retired after 25 years. She loved to share her artistic talents with friends whether she was using acrylics, watercolors, or pen and ink. She also enjoyed animals and was an avid duck hunter. Karen is survived by her son, Carl Wake of Canyon Country, CA; grandson, Loren and granddaughters, Lindsey, Megan and Natalie who are the children of Karen’s daughter, Linda Fleck who died in 2010; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Ute) Segedi; sisters, Viola Segedi and Janet Stevens; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her daughter, Linda, she was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Viola Segedi. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, East Central Division, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
