Karen Susie Page, 52, of Elyria, died January 12, 2014. She was born October 11, 1961 in Mansfield, OH where she was a 1979 graduate of Madison Cosmetology Joint Vocational School. She was formerly employed by the Elyria Head Start Program and also held several positions in retail. She was a life member of Elyria AmVets Post 32 Ladies Auxiliary and Elyria VFW Post 1079 Ladies Auxiliary. For many years she had been a volunteer for the Elyria Salvation Army and enjoyed spending time with her husband, sons and grandchildren.Susie is survived by her husband of thirty four years, Ronald Lee Page Sr.; sons, Ronald Lee Page Jr. (Kim), a US Army Warrant Officer who has served three tours in Afghanistan and Christopher Andrew Page (April) a US Army Sergeant First Class who has served two tours in Iraq; grandchildren, Ron Page III, Caroline Page and Christopher Page; sister, Shellie Green of Knoxville, TN and a brother, John Roser of Princeton, TX.She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Doris and Russell Butterbaugh; father, Paul Roser and a brother, Pete Roser.Friends will be received Thursday January 16, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Friday January 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Major Alice Stahl officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The Elyria Salvation Army, 716 Broad Street, Elyria, 44035.
