Kathleen M. Meadows Kathleen M. Meadows (nee Dobelbower), 80, of Elyria died September 20, 2021 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1941 in Sandusky, OH and has been a resident of Elyria most of her life. She attended Lakewood School for the deaf. Kathleen was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, sewing, jigsaw puzzles and reading the bible. She was a member of Oberlin Calvary Baptist Church and a former member of Izaak Walton League of America and The Elyria/Lorain Association of the Deaf. Kathleen is survived by her son, Leroy T. (Rosezina) Meadows of Elyria and sisters, Sally Binette, Michelle Thomas and Patricia Dennis. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years, Urias Meadows, Jr. in 2019 and her parents, Frost and Elsie Dobelbower. Friends will be received Sunday October 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM until the time of a 4:30 PM service at Oberlin Calvary Baptist Church, 414 South Main Street, Oberlin. Pastor Brian Kenyon will officiate. Masks are recommended. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
