With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathleen S. Canfield (nee Walker), 85, of Elyria on July 25, 2021. She was born November 3, 1935 in Elyria and was a 1953 graduate of Elyria High School. She received a degree as a registered nurse working in numerous capacities for 43 years, before retiring. Kathleen was a constant traveler, camper, gardener and avid crafter. She was known for her beautiful stove handle towels. Kathleen was the beloved mother of Daniel P. McClintock (Dawn) and Richard S. McClintock (Becky) and former daughter in law Judith Feher. She was also a devoted grandmother of Jessica (T.J.), Colton, Kevin and Hawk; great grandmother of Nathan, Kira, Jace, Thomas, Payton, and Hawk Jr; and dear sister in law of Janet Walker and her son Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Naomi Walker. Private burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to a cancer society of donor’s choice.
