Kenneth P. Fashing SR.'s Obituary
Kenneth P. Fashing, SR., 87, died Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk. He was born August 18, 1938 in Avon Lake and was a 1956 graduate of Avon Lake High School. Ken had been employed at Columbia Gas and retired from Space Comfort Heating and Cooling as an HVAC technician in 2016. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, taking care of his property, and cooking. He was a former member of the Wakeman Eagles.
Ken is survived by children, Kip Fashing of Delaware and Tammy Fashing of Wakeman; stepchildren, Kim (Kenny) Kerr, Sara Zwelling, Judy (Joe) Benedek and Linda (Paul) Young; grandchildren, Jennifer, Nikki, Bobby, Kayla, Jessica and Trisha; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Carol (Frank) Nehls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Iris (nee Tomanek) Fashing; first wife, Norma Wiggens, second wife, Frances Fashing and grandsons, Charlie Kerr and Shelby Johnstone.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
