Kenneth M. Rea, 95, died June 13, 2013 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.He was born November 19, 1917 in Linesville, PA and graduated from Linesville High School in 1934 as class Valedictorian. Kenneth served with the U.S. Army during WWII in the India-Burma-Asia Campaign. He was employed as a welder with Iron Workers Local 17 and then for 21 years at NASA, retiring in 1982. He had also been a salesman for Columbus Mutual Life Insurance Company. He was a longtime resident of Parma and a former member of Ridgewood United Methodist Church. Ken is survived by his children Margie (Thomas) Davis; Carolyn (John) Dyck; Thomas (Joyce) Rea and Dennis (Elisa) Friedl; grandchildren Sharon (Eric) Beach, Sean (Emily Schmidt) Dyck, Beth (Shane) Williamson, George (Shanna) Davis, Bill (Melanie) Davis, Olivia (Erik Palmore) Rea, Bryan Rea, Edward and Lauren Friedl; great-grandchildren Libby, Erick and Elise Beach, Ryan and Kelsey Williamson and Warren Davis.He was preceded in death by wives Olive, Louise and Lulu; parents Silas Franklin and Bertha Mae (nee Garwood) Rea and siblings Earl, Helen and Clemson Rea.A memorial service will be Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Wesleyan Village, 807 West Ave., Elyria.
