Kevin Povlsen Obituary
Kevin L. Povlsen, 44, of Elyria, died November 28, 2022. He was born November 23, 1978 in Elyria and was a 1997 graduate of Midview High School. After graduation, Kevin served 5 ½ years in the US Navy. After his service in the Navy, he received associate degrees in science and liberal arts from Lorain County Community College. He also attended Lorain County JVS and received certification in HVAC. Kevin is survived by a brother, Colin E. (Jennifer) Povlsen of Elyria and was the proud uncle of Zach and Zo Povlsen. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Suzanne (nee Bohn) Povlsen and maternal grandparents, Ellsworth and Helen Bohn and paternal grandparents, John and Eva Povlsen. Friends will be received Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Reverend Patrick Nicolino officiating.
