Kip E. Raike, 58 of Atlanta, GA and formerly of Elyria, died December 22, 2011 in Atlanta.He was born April 9, 1952 in Elyria and was a 1971 graduate of Elyria High School and a 1975 graduate of Ohio University.He was involved in real estate in the Atlanta area. Kip was also a professional golfer, an accomplished guitarist and loved his pet dog Scarlet.Kip is survived by sisters Kerry W. Raike of Elyria; Kathy A. Edmondson of N. Olmsted; brother Mickey Rooney of Wooster, OH; nephew Travis Shamsali, niece Ashley Shamsali, both of Sheffield Lake; nieces Krisy Williams of Charleston, WV and Kendra Meister of N. Olmsted.He was preceded in death by his mother Brenda G. Dolly Raike in 1992 and father Ronald G. Bud Raike in 2006.Friends will be received Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 6 p.m. until the time of a 7:30 p.m. memorial service at Harvest Christian Church, 907 Eastern Heights Blvd., Elyria, OH 44035.
