Kristopher Hebble Obituary
Kristopher Marc Hebble, 35, of Elyria passed away March 29, 2018 after a 10 year battle with congestive heart failure. He was born Feb. 27, 1983 and was a 2001 graduate of Keystone High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) degree through Cleveland State University in 2006 and a Master of Arts in History Degree through Cleveland State in 2010.Kristopher joined the Franciscan order in 2014 as a novice brother and recently became a professed member of the Order of Saint Francis.Brother Kris was an active member of Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Elyria and was particularly involved in the food pantry, community hot meals where he served as de facto Chaplain, family promise, vacation bible school and facilitated bible study. He also served as clerk of the Church vestry.Kristopher was known for his unique sense of humor and enjoyed reading and collecting rare classic books.Kristopher was involved in music and musical theater most of his life, in his early years he was a member of the Cleveland Singing Angels and Cleveland Stars in Motion. He participated in many Northeast Ohio theatrical productions in numerous area theater venues, including The Beck Center for the Arts and Cain Park. He was well known for his big beautiful booming singing voice.Kris is the beloved son of Greg and Carrie Hebble of Elyria, he is also survived by brothers: William Hebble and his son Aiden Hebble of Elyria, Jacob Hebble (Tarayla) of Elyria, sister: Amanda Fritsch (Jason) and their children Jackson and Julie of Elyria. Also surviving are aunts: Cindy Hashman of Lodi, Beth Carmen (Alan) of Spencer and Karen Hauk (Ray) of North Ridgeville and paternal Grandmother Ruth Hebble of Lodi.Friends will be received Sunday April 15, 2018 from 3:00 PM until the time of a 5:00 PM service and inurnment at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 330 3rd Street, Elyria. Reverend June Hardy Dorsey, Rector will officiate.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
