Larry Shoemaker Obituary
Larry L. Shoemaker, 63, of Elyria and a current resident of Oak Hills Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, Lorain, died June 13, 2022. He was born August 2, 1958 in Lima, Ohio and was a graduate of Elyria West High School. Larry served with the US Army as a helicopter-utility repairman. He enjoyed socializing, listening to rock n roll music, fishing, riding bikes and swimming. While growing up with his family he loved to spend time with their pet dogs. Larry is survived by a brother, Daniel Shoemaker of Lorain; sister, Sue Gessner of Grafton; 5 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Joan (nee Stock) Shoemaker; brother, Todd Shoemaker and a brother in law, Jeff Gessner. Private burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. There are no gallery images.
