Laurel Ann Capp (nee Willbond), 58, of Elyria, died Monday, October 14, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, in Lorain.She was born December 19, 1954 in Oberlin, was a 1970 graduate of Oberlin High School and has lived most of her life in Elyria.Laurel worked as a waitress for many years at Carls Country in Elyria and also as a waitress and barmaid at Elyria V.F.W. Post 1079.She is survived by her sons Dennis Close of Durham, NC and Gary Close of Gilbert, AZ; five grandchildren; brother William Butch Willbond of Wellington and sisters Karen Keiser of Ft. Wayne, IN and Marilyn Clap of Newark, OH.She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Capp in 2006; brother Tom Willbond and a sister Vicky Davis.A graveside service will be Friday, October 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life Hospice, 3700 Kolbe Rd., Lorain, OH 44053. Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria is in charge of arrangements.
