Lauren Semancik Obituary
Lauren Y. Semancik (nee Wayne), 67, of Norwalk, formerly of Elyria and a longtime resident of Grafton, died December 14, 2014 after a brief illness. Lauren was born July 24, 1947 in Richwood, WV and had been a taxi driver in both Elyria and Norwalk. She was a member of Elyria United Polish Club, Elyria V.F.W. #1079 Auxiliary and the Elyria Moose Club. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.Lauren is survived by a daughter Rhea McGhee of Norwalk; son Patrick Semancik of Oberlin; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a sister Leah Randall of Craigsville, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents Herald and Louise Wayne and a sister Leda Bess.
