Lenora L Davis Coss (nee Brill)'s Obituary
Lenora L. Davis Coss (nee Brill), 78, of North Ridgeville died Tuesday June 9, 2026. She was born April 7, 1948 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and was a 1966 graduate of Elyria High School and Lorain County Community College. Lenora was an RN specializing in labor and delivery. She worked at many hospitals in the area including Metro, Cleveland Clinic, Kaiser, Marymount and California where she was a traveling nurse before retiring. Lenora played an active role in organizing nurses to get them unionized. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. She was a volunteer and advocate for the transplant kidney organization and received a kidney transplant in 2018.
Lenora is survived by her sons, John William Davis and Eric A. Davis; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnne Schmidt; brother, Neil Brill and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elinor Brill.
A memorial service will be Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Dicken, Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Kathryn Ketchum officiating.
