Lenora Roberts Obituary
Lenora Deptula Roberts, 82, of Elyria, went to be with the Lord, December 16, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She was born August 31, 1939 in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada. She met her prior husband, David, in Maine while he was stationed with the US Air Force. Lenora was a member of St. Agnes Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working with her hands crafting gifts, cross stitching, crocheting and playing bingo with friends. Lenora is survived by her husband of 21 years, Carl E. Roberts; children, John (Cindy) Deptula, Lorrie Boese, Alan Deptula and Penny (William) Grieve; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline (Dan) Driscoll; step-children, Tracy (Matthew) Renick and Scott Roberts. She was preceded in death by her prior husband, David Deptula in 1997; parents, Addis and Sadie Gagnon; and sisters, Barb and Marie. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of a 1:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Charles J. Ryba will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
