My name is Julie. I am a volunteer with Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. Leona was one of the patients I visited at O'Neill Healthcare for a short time from the end of February to mid March when the pandemic began. I only visited with Leona twice, when she was awake and alert. My two visits were very enjoyable and engaging. Leona discussed her joy of traveling and her quilting talent. She had a beautiful quilt on her wall and she told me that she made the one on her bed. I could see it was well worn. Leona was a beautiful woman. A true lady. I only wish you could have gotten to know her better. When I was unable to continue visiting Leona, I was sending her greeting cards, along with a recent birthday card. My heartfelt sympathies goes out to all her family. I'm sure you have many fond memories of Leona. May you find peace and comfort in this difficult time. God bless the and give you strength Julie
