LeRoy Reynolds Obituary
LeRoy E. Reynolds, 78, of Vermilion, died September 20, 2021 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born December 18, 1942 in Elyria and was a 1961 graduate of Elyria High School. LeRoy was employed for 42 years at Ford Motor Company Lorain Assembly Plant and Ford Ohio Assembly Plant, Avon, retiring as a supervisor in 2006. He was a member of The Cathedral of Life Church, where he worshipped and supported the church ministries. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Indians, Browns and Ohio State. Other interests included boating, fishing and traveling. Spending time with his family and grandchildren is what made him happy. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carol; son, Todd (Naomi) Reynolds of Elyria; daughters, Amy (James) Cook of Lorain and Tatum (Ernest) Dalton of North Ridgeville; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; step-son, David (Wanda) Koepke of Temperance, MI; sister, Bonnie Wallace of Elyria; and a brother, Eugene (Gerry) Reynolds of San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon in 2005; parents, Claire and Dorothy Reynolds; sister, Evelyn Yancer; brother, Larry Reynolds; and a great-granddaughter, Analisia Cruz. Friends will be received Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the time of a 3:00 pm service at The Cathedral of Life Church, 5375 Jaycox Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
