Liza Pass Obituary
Liza Pass (nee: Hall), 89, of Elyria, died March 22, 2015 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born March 20, 1926 in Melvin, Kentucky and since 1952 has been a resident of the Lorain Elyria area. For ten years Liza was an Avon representative and was a fifty five year member of Church Of Christ in Lorain. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Liza is survived by her husband of sixty nine years, William E. Pass; daughter and caregiver, Kathlene (Russ) Weiss of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Lisa (Jason) Cooper of Amherst, Michelle Hall of Vermilion and Joseph (Morgun) Carstensen of North Ridgeville; great grandchildren, Ethan, Jaydan and Mikayla Cooper, Zoe Hall and Sadie Carstensen and sisters, Opal Hall and Eddie Mae Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mander and Pricy Hall; son, Harold Hall; sisters, Mary Moore and Arizona and Margaret Hall; brothers, Albrow, Noah, Hillard, Millard, Johnny and Madison Hall.Friends will be received Thursday March 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A service will be Friday March 27, 2015 at noon in the Chapel at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon with James Hiser officiating. The Pass family offers a special thanks to Hospice Of The Western Reserve especially Leann, Marla R.N., Rick R.N., Laurie and Anastasia and the other team members for their care and compassion.
