Lois West Obituary
Lois M. West (nee Mohrman), 94, of Elyria, passed away peacefully January 21, 2022 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain. She was born December 1, 1927 in Wellington and was a 1945 graduate of Wellington High School. She was a 40 year resident of Elyria before moving to Abbeville, Alabama where she lived for 14 years before returning to Elyria. Lois enjoyed bicycling, traveling, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Lois is survived by her daughter, Glena (Mike) Nutter of Elyria; son, Douglas (Keiko) West of Oahu, HI; grandsons, Marc, Brian, Gary and Cliff; great-grandchildren, Ariana, Abby, Maddy, Vanessa, Benjamin and Noah; a great-great grandchild; and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Glen H. in 2015; daughter, Julie Byrd; and a brother, Delbert Mohrman. A burial service for the family will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
