Lori J. Pfaff Lori J. Pfaff, 57, of Elyria, died Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021 after fighting a long illness. She was born December 16, 1963 in Elyria. Lori loved life and her family, especially her daughter and grandson. She was to many people throughout her life a generous caregiver. Lori is survived by her daughter, Connie J. McDavid and son-in-law, Nick Papadakis; grandson, Emmanuel Papadakis, all of Lorain; sister, Mari (Bill) Oates of South Amherst; brother, Brad (Julie) Pfaff of LaGrange; nieces, nephews, five great-nieces and her former husband, Rodney McDavid. She was preceded in death by her son, Brett A. McDavid in 2008; parents, Bill and Ann Pfaff; a brother, Thomas Pfaff and longtime companion, Roy McDaniel. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Private burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
