Lorraine M. Ramey, 91, of LaGrange, died December 7, 2020 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 3, 1929 in Comertown, Montana. For 30 years, Lorraine lived in Bonita Springs, FL where she owned and operated a family diner. While living in FL, she was a past president of American Legion Post 303 Women’s Auxillary. Lorraine moved to Amherst in 2014 and was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Amherst. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and quilting. Lorraine is survived by her children, Larry (Lois) Ramey of Dayton, Evelyn Manecci of NC, Julie (Mike) Ramey-Rowland of Lorain and William (Janet) Ramey of LaGrange; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eunice Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband Billy A. Ramey in 1980; parents, Peter C. and Ella M. Olson; and eight siblings. A family graveside service was held at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
