Louise Kathy Williams (nee Akers), 45, of Elyria, formerly of LaGrange, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at EMH Healthcare after a 3 year illness.She was born February 2, 1966 in Elyria, lived in LaGrange, was a 1984 graduate of Keystone High School, where she was active in marching and concert band and moved to Elyria in 1989. She worked as manager of Family Dollar in Elyria until August of 2011. Kathy enjoyed family times together and rides in the country.She is survived by her husband of 22 years, David E. Williams; daughters Tiffany L., Reanna F. and Courtney M. Williams, all of Elyria; mother Wanda (nee Hall) Akers of LaGrange; brothers Tom Akers (Pixie) of Vermilion, Jim Akers (Julia) of Elyria; sisters Tina Barth (Kevin Henthorn) of LaGrange, Angela Stadnik (Ron) of Elyria, Tonya Prestwood (Karl Wirkner) of Grafton and Amber Kendall of LaGrange and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father Roger D. Akers, Sr. in 1987; brother Roger D. Akers, Jr. in 2005; nephew Roger D. Akers, III in 1987 and nephew Daniel Akers in 2006.Family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 3 to 5 p.m. at LaGrange Church of God, 502 N. Center St., LaGrange, OH 44050. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the church. Rev. Danny Wright will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
