Lula “Lu” Belle Bohac-Capp (nee Burrough), 85, of Elyria, Ohio, former long-time resident of Grafton, Ohio, gained her angel wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Elyria UH Medical Center surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born August 5, 1937, in Canfield, WV, Lu was a loving wife, mom and grandma most known for her role as the founder of Lu’s Pizza in1977. Her welcoming smile and service with kindness left a lasting imprint on many. Most of her time was spent taking care of her family, friends and community. She will be dearly missed and always remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Lu is survived by her husband of 27 years, Joseph H. Capp; her children, Elaine S. Brown (Jim), Mark F. Shepherd (Jackie), Scott D. Bohac (Heather), Thomas F. Bohac (Tara); step-children Joe Capp (Kay), Jodi Capp Cunningham (Jim) and Jane Capp Shirley (Jeff); beloved grandchildren, Heidi Matias (Jose), Matthew Seel (Sabrina), Heather Seel, Jon Brown (Minhchau), Sara Shepherd, Mark J. Shepherd, Ryan Shepherd, Jennifer Shepherd, Austin Shepherd, Jesse Bohac, Megan Bohac, and James D. Bohac, as well as Edwin Jr., Melissa, Jennifer, Jonathon, Angel, Catherine, Matthew, Colton and Kristina. She was proud to be known as GiGi to many and Great GiGi to many more. Lu was preceded in death by a son, Michael John Shepherd; parents, Cobel Ray and Macel (nee Wood) Burrough; brothers, Harold D. and Kenneth R. Burrough; and a sister, Ruthalea Burroughs Kennedy. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to Hound Hollow, c/o Lu’s Pizza, 945 Main Street, Grafton, Ohio 44044.
