Marcia J. Herrick (nee: Ball)Marcia J. Herrick (nee: Ball), 89, a lifelong Elyria resident passed away January 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. A retired twenty five year employee of Elyria Memorial Hospital, Marcia was also a talented portrait artist. She enjoyed gardening, watching TV shopping channels and spoiling her cat, Big Girl. Her greatest love was her family. Few people leave this world without enemies, but Marcia did. Her loving nature and gentle spirit will be missed by all who new her.Marcia was the beloved wife of the late Robert Herrick, Sr.; cherished mother of Robert Herrick, Jr., Lorraine Castelli (Gerald), Lisa Allen (David); treasured grandmother of Michael Plumley (Danielle), Brian Ruggles (Nani), Shannon Walker (Kim), Lindsey Mooney (David), Amy Kinter and Miranda Castelli; devoted great grandmother of seventeen; dearest sister of Sally Kosco (Richard), Thomas Ball and the late Nancy Smith; daughter of Thomas and Sarah Ball, both deceased; aunt, great aunt and friend of many.
