Margaret E. Peg Tulk, 91, of Elyria, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Wesleyan Village, Elyria.She was born May 11, 1921 in Irvona, PA, a 70 year resident of Elyria and. a graduate of Elyria High School. She was formerly employed at Bendix Corporation in the accounting department, Hess & Hess Pharmacy and was financial secretary at St. Paul United Church of Christ and First United Methodist Church.She was a member and former trustee of First United Methodist Church and had been active with the Elyria High School Band Parents and alumni association. She was a volunteer at Wesleyan Village and enjoyed domestic and international travel. Peg is survived by a daughter Jane (John) Kerr (nee Folk) of Easton, PA; sons John (Ruth) Folk of Findlay, OH and Pat (Connie) Killion of Elizabeth, WV; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandson; stepdaughters Ruth and Agnes and stepsons Harry and John.She was preceded in death by her husband Henry N. Tulk in 1973.Friends will be received Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Hone, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. A funeral service will be Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of First United Methodist Church, 312 Third St., Elyria with Reverend Dalton D. Love officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesleyan Village, 807 West Ave., Elyria or First United Methodist Church.
