Friends will be received Sunday. September 9, 2012 from noon to 2 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Marguerite E.Marge Heathcote, 92, of North Ridgeville and Elyria, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012.She was born April 17, 1920 in Cleveland, OH and was a 1938 graduate of West High School in Cleveland.She moved to Elyria in 1943 and was employed at Colson Corporation in Elyria, Associates Finance in Lorain and J.C. Penney Company, Midway Mall in Elyria, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Elyria and a former member of Elyria American Legion Post 12 Auxiliary; Elyria V.F.W. #1079 Auxiliary and the Elyria Y.W.C.A. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, golf and bowling. Marge is survived by sons Jeffrey D. (Linda) Heathcote and Brian C. Heathcote, both of Elyria; daughter, Barbara M. (Thomas) Hadaway of LaGrange; grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie and Christopher Heathcote and six great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Archie Heathcote in 2000.
