Marianne Obertz Obituary
Marianne Obertz, 63, a resident of ResCare in Elyria, and formerly of Lorain, died February 20, 2017. She was born June 15, 1953 in Lorain. Marianne attended Lucy Idol Center and was formerly employed at Murray Ridge Workshop. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Lorain and enjoyed spending time with friends, picnics and playing BINGO. Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Obertz. Friends will be received Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a 3:00 p.m. Parastas service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. The Very Rev. Nicholas R. A. Rachford will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
