Marie Temple Obituary
Marie E. Temple (nee Goff) 92, of Elyria, died December 26, 2016 at Life Care Center of Elyria. She was born December 26, 1924 in Mabie, WV. She had also lived in Colton, WV and Akron before moving to Elyria in 1959. She was formerly employed as a cashier at Fisher Food Store and A & P Grocery Stor, and then for 13 years, as an inspector at Bendix Westinghouse, all in Elyria, retiring in 1978. She was a member of East Broad Street Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing, playing cards, watching movies and swimming at the former YMCA. Marie is survived by 3 nephews and 3 nieces and friends, Roxie (Harold) Cantley and Elaine Leonhardt, both of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Bertha Goff and 6 brothers. Friends will be received Friday, December 30, 2016 from 11 until the time of a noon service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Minister Harold Reddick will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
