Marilyn Landes Obituary
Marilyn J. Landes (nee Tite), 83, of Elyria, died in her home May 29, 2021. She was born February 19, 1938 in Elyria and was a 1956 graduate of Midview High School. She had also attended Lorain County Community College. For twenty five years, until 1995, Marilyn was employed at First Merit Bank, Elyria. She was then employed at Lowe’s, Com Star Credit Union and Drug Mart at Chestnut Commons. She was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church, Elyria. Marilyn is survived by children, Diane Linden of Vermilion, Teresa Pelfrey of Akron and Michael Landes of Elyria; eight grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters and a sister, Marge Renney of Elyria. She was preceded in death by a son, Craig Landes in 2018, son-in-law, James A. Linden in 2014 and her parents, Gordon and Eithel Tite. Friends will be received Monday June 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time a 1:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Nathan A. Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
