Marion Wiles Obituary
Marion L. Wiles (nee Cummings), 86, of Elyria, passed away peacefully December 13, 2019 at Life Care Center of Elyria where she had been a resident for the past 3 years. Marion was born August 6, 1933 in Laurel Point, WV and was a 1951 graduate of Morgantown High School later moving to Ohio with her husband. For many years, she was employed as a nurse at Elyria Memorial Hospital from where she retired. Marion was a long time member of Washington Avenue Christian Church. She loved to play BINGO, was passionate about reading, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Marion is survived by her children, Virginia Brower of Medina, Ron (Cindy) Wiles of Kipton, and Suzanne (John) Wiles-Menhart of Elyria; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Wiles in 1972; son, John Howard Wiles in 1969; and parents, James and Virginia (nee Arnett) Cummings. Friends will be received Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 2:00 pm until the time of a 3:30 pm memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Nathan A.
