I met Chessie at TransOhio bank when I was 25.Chessie was a fabulous matchmaker, she fixed me up with my husband and we've been married 29 yrs. We toast you Chessie every anniversary and will miss your giggle big time. 💕
Dear John, Pam, Dale and family, We regret not being able to share your loss in person. Marlene (Chessie) is the epitome of sweetness. I cannot recall at anytime when she was anything but nice and encouraging. I loved teasing her and Pam at various church events. Her laughter will be missed as will be her person. She is now sharing that smile with a new and perfect audience. Blessing and peace in Christ to you all.Truly,Steve and Robbie Polansky
Marlene was so kind and had a great way to uplift you in the things she would say and do .So brave to have fought such a disease that she knew would end her life she did it with grace while Jesus provided her with mercy. Rest easy lots of mint ice cream up there enjoy my friend. ðŸ™â¤ï¸

My deepest sympathy to John and the Matus family. Knew Marlene while working with Twin Lakes where she lived. She was such a kind and sweet person. I know how much her family meant to her and she had some great sisters that kept close contact with her. May she rest in peace. Love & Blessings
