Mary Shaffstall Obituary
Mary J. Shaffstall (nee Prochazka), 79, of LaGrange and formerly of Elyria, died June 2, 2020 at Keystone Pointe. She was born October 22, 1940 in Elyria and was a 1958 graduate of Elyria High School. For over 40 years, Mary was office manager at Pierre R. Smith and Company in Elyria. She enjoyed vacations especially skiing with her family and playing golf. Mary is survived by sons, John Shaffstall of LaGrange and Paul Shaffstall of Wellington and daughters, Daphne (Frank) Cosentino of North Ridgeville, Kim Shaffstall and Becky (Joe) Palos both of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Edith Prochazka and a brother, Jim Prochazka. A graveside service for the family will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria with Pastor Bill Mugnolo of St. John Lutheran Church officiating.
