Mary Lou McDivitt, 79, of Elyria, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at EMH Regional Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1933 in Amherst and was a 1951 graduate of Elyria High School. Her interests included flower design, gardening, quilting and crafts. Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bernard E. McDivitt; daughters, Linda (Russell) Bowles of Elyria and Cathy Conger of Kenosha, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Christopher Conger of Riverview, Florida and Katie Bowles of Elyria and a great granddaughter, Hannah Conger.She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ricco, father, Raymond Solt and brothers, John, Thomas and William Ricco.Friends will be received Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A service will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with Deacon John K. Slatcoff of St. Vincent de Paul Church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
