Mary T. Hagesfeld, (nee Tierney), 93, a resident of Wesleyan Village, Elyria, died July 21, 2016.She was born May 29, 1923 in Cleveland and was a 1941 graduate of the former Ursuline Academy in East Cleveland. She also received an associate degree from Dyke School of Business in Cleveland. For 30 years, Mary was employed as a secretary at M. A. Hanna Company in Cleveland, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Mary Church, Elyria.Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Oliver B. Hagesfeld in 2006; parents James and Josephine Tierney and a brother James L. Tierney, Jr.Friends will be received Monday, July 25, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of a 6:00 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick will officiate. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
