Mary Wallhead (nee Wauthier), 85, of Elyria Township died August 6, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born April 25, 1936 in McDonald, PA and was a 1954 graduate of Wayne High School in North Bloomfield, OH. Mary took comfort and was dedicated to her Christian faith. She had also enjoyed quilting. Mary is survived by sons, Ronald (Kathy) Wallhead of New London and Wayne (Deborah) Wallhead of Elyria; grandchildren, Raymond and Daniel Wallhead and Sara Jones and Matthew Wallhead; great grandchildren, Xander, Paxton, Morgan and Paige Wallhead and Caiden and Autumn Jones and Ziva Wallhead and brothers, James and Samuel Wauthier. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty three years, Donald in 2013; parents, Joseph and Mary Wauthier; brother, Joseph and sisters, Sarah, Ruth and Florence. Friends will be received Tuesday August 10, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A graveside service will be Wednesday August 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
