Maryann Seymore, 77, of Elyria, passed away suddenly September 22, 2016 while visiting family and friends at her birthplace in West Virginia.She was born June 4, 1939 in Parkersburg, WV and was a graduate of John Marshall High School, Cleveland.She was former owner of Maryanns Beauty Salon in both Elyria and Lorain and then she was a realtor for Demby Real Estate. Maryann enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, bowling in the womens league, playing cards, baking, cooking and especially coordinating family gatherings for Christmas Eve and summer cookouts. She was a member of Elyria United Polish Club and a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians.Maryann is survived by sons George (Randi) Rose of Grafton, Brian (Connie) Rose and Vincent (Kelly) Rose, both of LaGrange; daughters, Darlene (Ray) Straka of Brunswick and Tammie (Joe) Kristoff of Elyria; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands George Rose, Jr. in 1968 and Raymond F. Seymore in 2014; mother and stepfather, Mildred and Robert Carroll and a sister Eleanor Cox.Friends will be received Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 5 p.m. until the time of a 7 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Reverend Kevin L. Crow, pastor of Harvest Ridge Church, North Ridgeville will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd. Suite 260 Independence, OH 44131. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
