Merrill “Frank” Lynch, Jr. Merrill “Frank” Lynch, Jr., 58, of Elyria, died March 21, 2022 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1963 in Springfield, MA and grew up in Enfield, CT where he was a 1982 graduate of Enrico Fermy High School. As a youngster he spent many hours working with his father as a volunteer firefighter and CB and radio operator and enjoyed hunting and fishing which he continued to do throughout his life. From 1986-1988 he served with The United States Army. He was formerly employed as a dispatcher for NPO Transportation Logistics. Frank is survived by his wife of ten years, Sharon D. (nee Sparks) Lynch; sons, Tyler M. Sparks of Elyria and Merrill F. Lynch III of Lorain and Jessie, his German Shepherd puppy. Also surviving are siblings, Patrick (Jacquelyn) Lynch, Coleen (Anthony) Scavotto, Kelly Smith and Kathleen (Garry) Kelliher all of Enfield, CT and Joan Zapatka of Griswold, CT; his sister-in-law, Peggy Miller and her family of Twinsburg and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Arlene Lynch. Friends will be received Friday March 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM until the time of a 7:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
