Michael AdkinsMichael Adkins, 76, of Elyria, passed away peacefully in his home August 24, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born March 14, 1941 in San Diego, California and was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force. Michael attended the FBI National Academy and retired as a Lieutenant from the Elyria Police Department. He is a member of Elyria VFW # 1079.Michael is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Linda L. (nee: Chambers); children, Laurel (Mike) Hoover, Bill (Laurie) Adkins and Lisa Adkins; grandchildren, Stacey, Jessica, Joe and Josh and great grandchildren, Tristan, Gabriella, Antonio and Kota.There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
