Nancy Dye Obituary
Nancy L. Dye (nee Stalla) 88, of Elyria, died peacefully with her family by her side October 18, 2022. She was born May 27, 1934 in Elyria. Her love of flowers led to her employment as a floral designer for many years. She enjoyed spending the winter in Ft Myers, FL with her family, painting especially water colors, broadway shows, dinner trains and visiting the zoo. She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nancy is survived by daughter, Sheryl A. (David) Marks of Vermilion and Susan M. Drew of Ft Myers, FL; son, Jeffrey R. (Gene) Dye of Rio Verde, AZ; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty five years, Robert G. Dye in 2002; parents, Arthur and Francis Stalla and brothers, Leslie and John Stalla. Friends will be received Wednesday October 26, 2022 from noon until the time of a 1:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Michael Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice or Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria. There are no gallery images.
