Nancy L. Gnizak, 72, of Elyria, died July 5, 2014 at Life Care Center of Elyria. She was born September 3, 1941 in Elyria where she was a lifelong resident. Nancy attended Elyria schools and had been employed at Lake Erie Frozen Foods and Murray Ridge Adult Work Shop. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Elyria. Nancy is survived by her brother, David (Peggy) Gnizak of Elyria; niece, Stephanie (Jason) Shoemaker; great nephew and great niece, Luke and Reagan Shoemaker; aunt, Ruth Sklenar and several cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary Gnizak and her nephew, Gregory Gnizak.Nancys family wishes to thank the staff of Life Care Center of Elyria for the loving care she received over the past several years.A private graveside service was held July 9, 2014 at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township with Reverend James Herbolsheimer officiating.
