Nancy Reed Obituary
Nancy M. Reed (nee Buttle), 68, of North Ridgeville and a former longtime resident of Wooster, died January 22, 2017 after a battle with brain cancer. She was born July 28, 1948 in Elyria and was a 1966 graduate of Elyria High School. In 1970, Nancy received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Ashland University. Both Nancy and her husband were members of Therapy Pets Unlimited.Nancy is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard N. Reed; sons Robert of St. Clairsville, OH and Christopher of North Ridgeville; three grandchildren and brothers, James (Judy) Buttle of Bay Village, Edward (Trish) Buttle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Donald (Chris) Buttle of Geneva, IL and Charles (Julie) Buttle of Brunswick.She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Buttle and Brothers, William and Kenneth Buttle. Friends will be received Saturday, February 18, 2017 from noon until the time of a 1:00 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. Reverend Dr. Brian K. Wilbert, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Oberlin will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Therapy Pets Unlimited, P.O. Box 553 Belmont, MI 49306.
