Naomi Ward (nee Wildman), 81, of Elyria, died at her home December 13, 2016 following a brief illness.She was born June 23, 1935 in Anmoore, WV and has been a resident of Elyria most of her life. She was formerly employed at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company, from where she retired as an inspector, and also worked as a school crossing guard at the corner of E. Broad and Park Ave.Naomi was a life member of Elyria Amvets Post 32 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed gambling, playing the Lotto and BINGO. Naomi is survived by daughters Cheryl (Steve) Johnson of Elyria and Nita Darlene Rincon of El Paso, TX; sons Emmett Michael Blake of Elyria and Richard Blake of San Antonio, TX; sister Rosealea Barbera of Akron; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Emmett Blake in 1959, brother Harold Wildman and parents, Ray and Floda Wildman. A memorial service will be announced at a later date in 2017.
