I was blessed to have Nan Livergood as a speech therapist at Allen School from 1969-1974. I will never forget her patience, kindness, and encouragement to me. As time moved forward, I served as Chaplain at the Elyria United Methodist Village and became reacquainted with Nan in the 1990’s when she served as a parish visitor for First Congregational Church-Elyria. An extraordinary woman of strength, determination, and grace. Having her as a speech therapist was transformation for my life! Rest in peace Mrs. Livergood, and thank you for lighting the way for me- Stacy Scott Terrell
