Nicholas A. Yug, 33, of Elyria, died September 30, 2016 in his home as a result of a heroin overdose.Nick was born September 2, 1983 in Oberlin and has been a lifelong Elyria resident .He was a 2002 graduate of Elyria High School, attended Lorain County Community College and was formerly employed as a precision machinist.Nick is survived by his parents Gary and Annette Yug; brother James (Kristie) Yug and a nephew, Tyler Yug, all of Elyria.Friends will be received Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria.A memorial service will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 300 Third St., Elyria. Reverend June Hardy Dorsey, Rector will officiate.
